50’s night with Harry Prime at Epicure Cafe

On Saturday, May 19, at 6:00 pm,
Harry Prime will appear at Epicure Cafe, Conrad and Bowman St.  Harry will be entertaining with songs from the 40″s and 50″s Big Band era.  Harry was born at 3512 Bowman St. and moved to the apartment over Clayton’s store at Conrad and Bowman Sts.  While working for “Kelly for Brickwork,” he won a contest that took him to “The Chesterfield Show” and from there to singing with the “Big Band” Tommy Dorsey and Ralph Flannagan.  The entertainment will include musical accompaniment by Ron Astel. The cost of the complete “soup to nuts” dinner with entertainment will be $35.00/person or $60.00/couple.
